2 Birthdays and a Very Special Day

I know I have posted a lot of these photos on Facebook already, but I still like to document things occasionally on the blog. Back, the first weekend of October we celebrated Natalie's 2nd birthday. We had a small family party at the house, complete with chocolate cake and homemade ice cream. I can't believe it's already been two years! We love you Natalie! You are such a fun-loving little girl!

It was Coleman's year to have a big, friend birthday party. We celebrated in the back yard with a baseball themed party. It was a lot of fun. I think the highlight was a baseball pinata!
One of Coleman's birthday presents was a special t-shirt that his Bebe had made. Back in October, Coleman had gone to one of the last Braves games in Turner Field with Daddy. At the game, he was able to get his picture made with lots of Braves players, including his favorite player from the year, Chase D'Arnaud. Bebe had the picture of Coleman and Chase D'Arnaud put on a t-shirt. Well, after the party, Charlie decided to tweet out the picture of Coleman and Chase. He wrote Chase's name in the tweet and it wasn't long before Chase responded. He said that he loved the t-shirt and asked if he could have one too. He gave us his address and we had a shirt made for him! Then, upon receiving his shirt, Chase took a video and posted it to Charlie's twitter. In the video he told Coleman how much he loved the shirt and that he wanted to meet Coleman and get a picture of the two of them wearing their shirts together. Coleman couldn't believe it! That very next weekend, Chase (along with his fiance and dog), met us at the park near our house. Coleman was on "top of the world" and Chase was so kind. He played ball with Coleman for at least an hour. Here are the pics from that special day!
