It is hard to know how to sum up our summer. The Lord has definitely blessed our time together as a family. I hope these pictures can give you all a glimpse into some of the fun activities we have had. We started the summer with a family camping trip to Don Carter State Park. In June, Charlie and I got to visit a dear, college friend of mine who lives in Anchorage. We had a great time touring the area and visiting with her family. Alaska is a gorgeous place! We spent the fourth of July at Lake Greenwood with my family. After the fourth we got to see our new little girl on an ultrasound! We also got away in July (just the 5 of us) to the beach for a half a week. We stayed at beautiful Fort Walton Beach, Florida. This past week, we "topped our summer off" with a daddy/daughter(s) date night, and a mother/son date night. I know the weather is still hot, but school starts this Wednesday and so it feels like our summer has come to a close. We have been thankful to the Lord for all our adventures!
