Beach Project t-shirts

One of the most exciting parts of the end of Beach Project is the revealing of the t-shirt design. This was exciting for Callie as well. Our ministry got shirts for all of our "staff babies." Though it is a little big for her, she enjoyed wearing it around project for a day and showing it off to students.

Callie and her friends sporting the shirts (Ellie Jane, Annie, Callie, and Maddux). As we were taking these pictures Maddux and Annie started ganging up on Callie at one point and hitting her head.

Callie and her friend Adina. Adina loved hanging out with Callie while they were on beach project this summer.

Callie and her friend James. If Callie wanted to date James in 20 years, I wouldn't be opposed to it. Though i don't know if he would be interested in a girl 21 years younger than him. James is one of the guys that I disciple at Northwestern and has grown tremendously in his faith in the past 3 years.

Videos of Callie From the Summer

We didn't bring our video camera down south for the summer, so we had to shoot all of our footage from my phone. Here are just a few videos from the summer:

How cute is our baby?

We think these are some of the best pictures that have been taken of Callie so far. They were taken by our friend Frances Lightcap

We will have some more pictures of her from our time at Summer Beach Project within the next few days.

Callie in Spartanburg

Before leaving Atlanta, Callie put on her tennis skirt and picked up a tennis racket for the first time. We can tell already that she is going to be a pro.

Callie took her first trip to the zoo in Greenville. She saw this giraffe (her favorite animal) and a few other animals for this first time. This was by far the most interesting.

Outside of the zoo, she got to swing in her first swing by herself. She absolutely loved it.

Callie loves the front porch in Spartanburg. She has also taken quite a liking to Goldie. She gets real excited and flaps her arms everytime she sees her walk by.

Callie has also gotten in touch with her Southern roots by swimming in this big metal washtub that we have here in Spartanburg. She had a blast splashing in the water

After it was all said and done, she enjoyed rocking in the rocking chair on the front porch.

Pool Fun for Callie

One of the things that Callie has enjoyed the most about being in Atlanta is the swimming pool. She loves splashing in the water and playing in her new turtle float that Papa and Bebe bought her.

Charleston and more Savannah

We stopped for a day in Charleston on our way to Savannah last week. Callie enjoyed walking around downtown, eating at Kickin' Chicken, and visiting with our friend Tim Lyons.

And here are the last few pictures from our time in Savannah:
