Kiddo updates

I have been meaning to update the blog for a while now, but to be honest have not really known what to update on. We have kinda been in the "grind" of life lately...just still figuring out our routine with Callie in school and a new (ish) baby. But, before too much time went by, I wanted to post a few pics and update everyone a little bit. This first picture is just a recent one of the five of us. We don't get many pictures of all of us these days, so I thought I would post it.

Well, Miss Natalie is about 4.5 months now and is certainly getting more personality. Her personality expressed itself quite well last night when she let us know from about 2-4 am that she was not interested in sleeping! We weren't impressed! Ha! But, anyway, she continues to be (for the most part) a pretty good baby. She's certainly not as easy as her brother, but no more difficult than Callie was. However, we will say that as far as nighttime sleep goes, she is the worst of the three. She is just very unpredictable! Her lack of sleep lately could be due to the fact that she has "rolling over" on her mind. She has actually rolled over at least 4 times, but we have never seen her doing it, just the after effect of her being on her stomach. On Saturday (Valentine's Day) night, we had dinner as a family. We went around teh table and everyone shared one thing they love about each person. For Natalie, we said her smiles. She really does give some good ones, don't you think.

One thing that we shared that we love about Callie is her affection. She has been very affectionate toward me lately, telling me she "wants a hug from mama" I hope that never changes. She has also been doing really well at school. She is reading like crazy and she continues to love people/friends in her class. One thing that has been harder for Callie lately is being "aware of herself" and thinking before she does things. That's something we are working on with her these days. She is excited to start upward soccer in a month. I'm sure there will be some good pictures from that.

Mr. Coleman is doing pretty well these days. He is following in his sister's footsteps in terms of loving to learn. Each week we do a "letter of the day" and he loves it. He wants to learn numbers, letter, you name it. I am thankful for that. His boyishness is coming out more and more and for the most part I love it! Only sometimes it's a bit of a problem when you wake your baby sister up "roaring" at her. His favorite past time lately is playing disney match game. He is a whiz and beats me almost every time (and yes, I am trying my best). Kinda embarrassing. We are real proud of him. His biggest challenge lately is not being a "grump." Sometimes I think he just loves to say "no" to any suggestion I make simply because I made it. We love our little man, and he's doing a good job holding his own between two sisters!
