Winter Days

We haven't had a lot of posts lately because we haven't done much lately. I hate to use the word boring, but let's just say life has been a bit mundane. Winter days can be hard and long sometimes. I'm thankful that Callie has preschool. We've also been going out to eat at least a couple times a week for entertainment. Here's a snapshot of what we do a lot of the times. We play upstairs in the playroom. Callie is pretending to be Rapunzel. The scarf is her long hair.

Coleman is growing up. He really likes to be a helper already. He loves sweeping. I'll have to remind him of that in 12 years!

Conference

I can't believe I have already been to my last Christmas Conference. It really didn't seem real. I think that was Christmas Conference number 14 for me! Anyway, it was a great conference. Charlie did a really awesome job with all the organizing of it. He was basically in charge of all the program flow this year. This was a bigger job than he'd ever had at a conference before. I also enjoyed it. Callie and Coleman did great. I even got to hang out with some of the girls in my Bible study thanks to a babysitter. Unfortunately I only took one picture. But, at least its a cute one with almost all the staff kids. My how they've grown in number!

Kiddo Updates and Christmas Photos

I thought it had been a while since I posted any updates on what the kids are doing these days. I feel like Coleman is changing so much so quick. Here's a list of the things he's doing these days. 1. saying more words. He says...ba for ball, dada, mama, mama(for milk, this can be confusing sometimes), and up (for pick me up, I hear this a lot!) 2. He's understanding and following alot of commands I give him like go get your shoes, get your coat, and he'll bring those things to me 3. waving a lot 4. still gives strangers blank stares, he's not an easy smile 5. playing hide and seek with Callie 6. he still pounds the food, as you can tell!

Callie, I picked this picture because she's been great about entertaining her brother lately. She still loves to read to him. 1. Callie's been loving preschool. 2. She's been playing Candyland like crazy (new game she got for Christmas). 3. Singing songs from the Sound of Music (another christmas gift) 4. She can count to 100! 5. still loves to dress up
