Peachtree-Dekalb Airport

If you would have asked us a few weeks ago if the airport would be a good place to take a child to play, we would have probably said no. However at that point we had not heard of the small Peachtree-Dekalb airport just outside of Atlanta. They have a little playground with some swings so the kids can play as they watch airplanes take off and land. Callie had a great time there.

We have a small airport by us that Ebeth enjoys visiting. Unfortunately, instead of a playground (brilliant idea!) there is a restaurant that serves sub-par food but has a spectacular view of planes landing and taking off, with the Flatirons behind them. You leave with a stomach ache and some great photos. :)

Betsy, I am glad that this airport experience was much better than that one. I would not have enjoyed leaving this outing with a stomach ache. Next time you are in the Atlanta area, you should head up to this airport. It is well worth it (especially since it is free).
