Spartanburg

On Monday, we returned from a wonderful trip down south to visit my family. It was such a blessing to get to see everyone. Callie and Coleman got to see all their family members. I wish we could have gotten pictures of the kids with everyone, but I did what I could. Here are a few shots with Gami and Greatmama.

We also got to play with Jackson and Hayes (dear friend Kaye's boys). Back in December I got a picture of these two sleeping in their carseats. Look how they've grown! Hayes on the left, coleman on the right.

a girl at chick-fil-a asked if they were twins.

Only action shots with these two. Kaye and I are determined they will be friends (at least as much as a boy and girl can be at their ages).

Can you guess which feet belong to Callie and which to Jackson?

Around the house shots

Just some random unrelated shots from around the house. Since it's been so warm we have had the doors open, enjoying letting the sunlight in.

First time in the pool

We took Callie and Coleman to a community center with an indoor pool. Callie got to play with her friend Evey. Coleman did well with his first time in the pool. He even went down a slide with Charlie. He was real tired by the end and fell asleep in Jennifer's arms.

Spring and 4 Months

Spring is in the air (at least today). It was 52 degrees and sunny today. It felt glorious. So far, this has been the best climatic year I have experienced in Minnesota. Hands down this past fall was the best of all 6 falls we've experienced here. And, this past winter has been (I think) the 2nd warmest winter ever recorded! Here's to hoping spring keeps with the trend of this year! Today we celebrated the warmth by going to the park. Of course it was still covered in snow, but Callie was able to play around a little bit. Coleman enjoyed his time outside, but poor thing couldn't keep his eyes open. The sun was too bright, especially reflecting off the snow.

Coleman with his little lovie. We have started swaddling him with both his arms out now, so I hand him his lovie when he goes down. I think it was also around this time that we gave Callie her lovie. She still sleeps with/adores him. We'll see if Coleman takes to his like that.

As of yesterday, Coleman is officially 4 months. He has his checkup next week. I am guessing he is still going to be at the top of the charts. Somehow, amazingly, he is just a big boy! Wouldn't have thought it possible, but he's just big. We'll see if it keeps up.

Coleman Laughing

A video of the little guy laughing. And here are some random pictures of the kids.
A pretty good smile
Callie has loved playing in the snow this year. We haven't had a ton (which has been fine by us), but we got about 5 inches the other day. She has loved playing, throwing snowballs, making snow angels, and building little snowmen whenever she gets the chance.
